On September 20, the 43rd ASEAN Maritime Transport Working Group Meeting opened in Nha Trang.
This year’s conference is chaired by the Vietnam Maritime Administration. This agency will also continue to host and chair the 44th and 45th Conferences, respectively held in major cities of Vietnam including Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. HCM.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Acting Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration Nguyen Dinh Viet said that the 43rd Conference will focus on issues such as reporting on the results of the 53rd ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting, 54th ASEAN Economic Ministers.
The event was attended by the ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Member States, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Transport-linked private sector organizations and ASEAN dialogue partners.
